What Chakra Should I work on First
I’d hazard to say that Chakra awareness is no different than any other experiences that we are introduced to or have come to be aware of in our life. Whether it be an infatuation that had taken you by storm or an event you attended that energized something within you, getting in touch with you core energetic centers is very fulfilling. For example, you may have attended a concert that had a talented musician that strapped on an instrument, and when they began to play it absolutely blew you away. You may have been able to picture yourself up on that stage performing. The feelings and imaging was so powerful that you wanted to run out the next day, purchase and instrument and jump up on stage and let your inner emotions guide your fingers to whale out some tunes.
Fast forward to that day, you quickly realize that you’re lacking the foundation in musical aptitude to orchestrate your fingers to caress the instrument to reproduce the sound you have so perfectly embedded in your mind. In essence, the sound that is playing in your mind is not able to make the energetic connection to reach the other functional centers to bring the vivid mental experience to life.
It’s almost impossible to skip the foundational development (learning if you will) and be able to manifest a desired result. The first step is gaining an Awareness. Chakra awareness is more often than not a result of an encounter that you experienced or witnessed where a connection of a non-physical nature had a profound impact on you personally but was an experience that you could not fully process. The experience could be either joyous and positive or sadness, fear and negative. It’ll almost always be the higher order Chakra centers focusing on Thought, Spirit, or the Heart. Experiencing these type of events may likely attract you to jump directly to the Chakra that you associate with the experience.
This is where your Desire starts to kick in. Having the Awareness and the Desire, you are most certainly becoming hungry for to develop your divine energy centers. Here’s what the expert advice is in regard to Chakra energetic development. The Chakras can be thought of as floors or stories of a building. Thinking of the Crown Chakra for example could be looked at as the penthouse. The penthouse can only exist as being the penthouse if the six stories are structurally sound beneath it. Developing that foundation is essential. What this means is that the Knowledge is best thought of as the foundation that you need to develop.
For example, the Heart Chakra is often associated as central to many personal experiences, but it is important to be aware that the Heart Chakra is very much a bonding or union energetic center. What that means is the Heart Chakra in the absence of its foundational lower Chakras will diminish the energetic experience if the lower Chakras are closed.
In preparation for initiating Chakra energetic development leading to opening your Chakras, it is important to start by gaining an Ability to awaken each Chakra through an understanding of each and the connections with the Elements and your individual divinity. This brings us to the final step which is Reinforcement. The Platonic and Sacred Geometries, and their semi-precious gems are powerful awakening aids. Having all seven in your presence will help you to attain a meditative state to rejuvenate inner harmony. Once you get the hang of it, it’s a fantastic 5 minute break to work into your busy day.
