Now this is a diverse category. You’ll find products in here that are recreations of obsolescence as well as gizmos that fill the void where nothing quite yet exists to provide a necessary function.

This design was needed to replace a seriously corroded bathtub drain lever cover dating back to 1975. This WALTEC cover is now obsolete, and I could not find anything that had its fasteners at the same spacing. I thought it’d be cool to replicate the detail for nostalgic purposes. The tub lives to die another day.

This device was needed to latch an Egress Window opened in order to facilitate a Fire Escape Exit. The Gentek window was equipped with a latching mechanism, but was unfortunately installed incorrectly as it was too close to the ceiling which defeated the latch. Check out the animation showing the device translating from it stow position to it’s full engaged latch position.
